Challenge : Artisan Hand-made Tyres for Road, Cyclocross and Gravel Cycling

Challenge are an Italian company specialising in hand-made tyres for cycling.

After nearly 20 years in the industry furnishing manufacturers and suppliers with cycling products, including Clement Tyres, Max Brauns failed to secure licensing rights for the use of the Clement trademark from the owners - Pirelli.

So, having already purchased and rebuilt a tyre factory in Thailand - sourcing local natural rubbers and latex for tyre production, Max and his son Alessandro established Challenge Tyres in 2003 

Since then they have expanded their range and have established themselves as a manufacturer of the finest tubular and open tubular tyres in the industry, acorss all aspects and disciplines of cyclesport. Indeed, in 2013 they celebrated the crowning of 5 US National champions in five different cycling disciplines in the same year – Road, TT, Cyclocross, Triathlon and Criterium.
